Before the due date (friendly)
Send two or three days ahead. The tone is helpful, not chasing: you are making it easy to pay on time.
Most unpaid invoices are not refused — they are forgotten, buried under other messages or waiting for someone to find the link again. A short, polite reminder on WhatsApp, with the amount, the reason and a one-tap way to pay, settles most of them the same day. These templates cover every stage, from a gentle note before the due date to a firm message when a payment is well overdue. Words in double braces are variables your system fills in for each customer.

Send two or three days ahead. The tone is helpful, not chasing: you are making it easy to pay on time.
Short and factual. Mention that it may already be paid — it often is, and it keeps the tone friendly.
A day or two after the due date. Still polite; add the number of days and ask whether something is wrong.
A week or more overdue. Be specific rather than harsh: amount, invoice, days overdue and the date you need it by.
Remind before each instalment, and show progress — customers pay more readily when they can see how much is left.
Say what continues when they pay — the membership, the classes, the service — and what stops if they do not.
For bookings that confirm on payment. Tie the payment to what it secures, and say when the hold expires.
Close the loop the moment money arrives. A receipt in the same chat stops "did you get my payment?" messages.

Greet the customer by name, say what the payment is for, give the amount and due date, include a link to pay, and add "if you have already paid, please ignore this". Keep it to two or three lines.
Be factual and assume the invoice was missed. Name the invoice, amount and date, offer help if there is a problem, and make paying one tap. Firmness comes from specifics — days overdue and a clear deadline — not from tone.
Two or three days before the due date, on the due date, and a day or two after if it is still open. For larger overdue amounts, a firm reminder after a week, then a call.
Yes, on the WhatsApp Business API. Reminders are approved utility templates sent by your system on a schedule; with Reputoo Payment, the link comes from your own gateway and the receipt and invoice follow automatically when the customer pays.
On the WhatsApp Business API it is a utility message — ₹0.115 per delivered message in India on Meta's July 1, 2026 rate card, before GST. The free WhatsApp Business app does not charge, but cannot send reminders automatically.
A payment link. It carries the amount and reason, offers UPI, cards and net banking, and tells you automatically when it is paid — no screenshots to check.
