How these lists are built

Most “best software” pages on the internet are affiliate rankings where the order is decided by commission. These are not that — nothing here is a paid placement — but they are published by a vendor that sells in the same category, which is its own kind of bias. Here is exactly how the lists are made, so you can discount them accordingly.

The same criteria across every tool on a listEach list opens with a fixed set of capabilities — broadcast, AI chat, voice, bookings, attribution — and every tool is marked against all of them, including the ones where the answer is no. A feature table only means something when the columns were chosen before the winner was.
Cons for every tool, Reputoo includedNo product on these lists is described without its limitations. Reputoo is a newer platform than WATI or Interakt and some workflow tooling is still on the roadmap; that is written on the pages themselves rather than left for you to discover after signing up.
Shape of pricing, not stale numbersVendor pricing changes constantly and a number typed into a page in one quarter is wrong by the next. These lists describe how each platform charges — per seat, per contact, per conversation, per minute — and point you at the vendor’s own pricing page for the current figure.
Written by a vendor, stated plainlyReputoo publishes these lists and appears on them. That is a conflict of interest, and the honest way to handle it is disclosure plus specificity: every claim about a competitor is one you can check on their own site in a couple of minutes. Do check.

How to read any best-of list, including this one

Four habits that make software shortlists far more useful, whoever published them.

Habit 01Ignore the ranking, read the fitA number-one slot means very little on its own. What matters is the row of your must-have capability and which tools have a yes in it. A tool ranked fourth overall can still be the only one that does the single thing your business depends on.
Habit 02Count the tools, not the featuresA cheaper platform that covers one channel plus two more subscriptions to cover the rest is rarely cheaper. Add up every product you would be running before you compare monthly prices.
Habit 03Check the API the tool sends onAnything on the official WhatsApp Business Platform plays by Meta’s rules on templates, opt-in and quality rating. Tools that automate the consumer app do not, and the accounts using them get banned. This is a yes/no question worth asking every vendor directly.
Habit 04Look for the exit before the entranceAsk how contacts, opt-in records and conversation history come out of the platform. The answer tells you what your second year of the relationship will feel like.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How are these best-of lists put together?

Each list starts from a fixed set of capabilities that matter for the job — broadcast, AI chat, voice, bookings, attribution — and scores every shortlisted tool against all of them, using vendor documentation and publicly available product information. Tools are added because they compete for the same buyer, not because they pay to be there. Nothing on these pages is a paid placement.

Is it fair for Reputoo to publish a list that includes Reputoo?

It is a conflict of interest and we say so on every page. What makes the lists useful anyway is that they are checkable: each competitor entry names specific capabilities and gaps you can verify on that vendor’s own website in a few minutes, and each list states where Reputoo is the weaker choice. Treat these pages as a research shortcut, not as an independent audit.

How often are the lists updated?

Each page carries its own last-updated date near the top. This category moves quickly — WhatsApp pricing rules, AI model capability and vendor feature sets all change several times a year — so check the date on the page you are reading and confirm anything pricing-related on the vendor’s site before you decide.

Why do you not publish exact prices for every tool?

Because a price typed into a page goes stale faster than the page gets edited, and a wrong number is worse than no number. The lists describe what drives the bill for each platform — seats, contacts, conversations or call minutes — which is the part that actually determines what you pay at scale, then link you to the vendor for the current figure.

What is the difference between the best-of lists and the comparison pages?

A best-of list surveys a category and shows several tools against one set of criteria. A comparison page puts Reputoo head-to-head with one named competitor in depth. Start with a list when you do not yet have a shortlist; move to the comparisons at /compare once you have two or three names, and to /alternatives if you are replacing a platform you already use.
