UPI QR as an image, not a link
A upi:// link tapped from inside WhatsApp frequently fails to hand off to the payment app. Sending the QR as an actual scannable image means the customer opens GPay, PhonePe or Paytm and scans it — which works reliably where the link does not.
Razorpay for everything else
The Razorpay integration covers UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, EMI and Pay Later, with INR formatting. Payment status flows back so the conversation knows whether it was paid.
Deposits at booking
Appointments can require a deposit at booking, collected in the same thread. For high-value slots this changes no-show behaviour more reliably than any reminder cadence.
Invoice and payment reminders
Outstanding invoices trigger WhatsApp reminders carrying the payment link, and the reminder respects the contact's opt-in status like any other business-initiated message.
COD to prepaid
For D2C, the order confirmation can carry a prepaid offer. A prepaid order returns at a fraction of the COD rate, and the incentive usually costs less than one RTO.
